All ordering information is kept confidential.  We do not disclose any customer information to outside parties. 
The information is used strictly for order processing and customer service.
 



Payments
For online shopping, We currently accept  

 

 

Note: For Paypal payments, we must use the shipping address supplied by the payers Paypal account.  No exceptions.

Other payment types such as checks or money orders must be handled by emailing your order to us.

Orders
Tech Model Products LLC reserves the right to deny service and sales and will credit back funds for denied orders.

Errors and pricing mistakes will be corrected and applied to your order before or after payment is collected.
By using our shopping cart, you agree to pay any additional amounts due
.

If you cancel an order that has already been boxed and/or a shipping label generated you are subject to a $5 handling fee.
Also, you will be charged a 3% fee of the total if the order was paid by credit card.


For International orders:
Shipping charges will probably be more than the cart charges.  Order online and we may need to email you a link to pay any additional postage.  You can also email us ahead of time for an estimate on the shipping.   You can use the cart to get a price quote and to create the list for a shipping estimate (copy and paste it into the email).  Note that all orders must be placed with our shopping cart.

We do not accept International returns.  All sales are final.

Note: All duties and taxes are the customers responsibility.  We cannot falsify customs documents - It is illegal.


Free Shipping - USA

Orders over $99 get free USPS priority shipping for the first pound or less.  Packages that weigh more than a
pound will be charged the difference from $5.00.  Large/bulky items and certain electronics are exempt from this offer.
Special deal and sale items may be exempt as well.  Only the lower 48 states apply.

Note: You will be charged for shipping when you place the order.  A refund will be issued after your order
is processed and the final weight is determined.
 

Shipping (general) - USA

We use USPS and UPS for shipping.  We can provide express delivery services if available in your area.  Please email us your
specific requirements A day ahead if possible since there are specific cut off times for the express services.
Large - Heavy packages ship by UPS ground.

We normally ship by USPS Priority mail which usually takes 2 days for delivery.  Delays can occur due to bad weather around
the country since the mail travels on commercial airlines.



First Class Shipping - In some cases, where the packages are small and lightweight, we can ship by first class mail for $3.00.
If you desire this,  let us know by leaving a message in the cart.  If possible, we will ship it by first class and issue a refund for
the balance.

Insurance is available for both international and domestic shipping.  Email us for details on the pricing for your order.

Free shipping offers do not include insurance.  You must pay extra for it.  We are not responsible for shipping damages.

Domestic shipping insurance can be purchased here  Shipping Insurance  and on most product pages.

We are not responsible for shipping damages.  USPS will not cover losses without insurance.   


Lost Packages

We ship Internationally on a regular basis and have had no problems.  However, most package delivery delays are caused by "Customs Services" in your local area or somewhere along the route in your country for any number of reasons which we cannot explain.

Since we have no control over these type of issues with Customs around the world, all non delivered package claims cannot be honored
until 45 days after the actual ship date of your order.

Occasionally, a package will get delayed. Please have patience with us and your "Customs Services".  Our experience has shown that
your package will probably arrive safely.  We have never lost a package and ship hundreds around the world each year.

Be sure to check with your local PO.  Sometimes they lose the shipping notice and your package will just sit there on a shelf
until you claim it.  In some cases your PO will return the package to us at your expense.


Shopping Cart

Using our shopping cart is easy.  Browse the products pages and click on the "Buy Now" button to add the item to the shopping cart.  Items can be removed or the quantities can be changed by pressing the "View Cart" button, changing the quantity for the item (0 to remove) and then pressing the "RECALCULATE" button.

When you are ready to place the order press the "GO TO PAYMENTS" button. 

  • Select your state and press the "CONTINUE" button. 

  • Enter your shipping and contact information and press the "CONTINUE" button.

  • Verify all information is correct (Edit if needed) and press the "CONTINUE" button.

  • Press the "CONTINUE" button.

  • Enter your payment information through PAYPAL.

An email will be sent to you confirming the order transaction.


General Policies

  • We accept no responsibility for any type of crash damage either to the model or by the model of any kind.
  • We accept no responsibility for the improper use of any products we sell of any kind.
  • All prices are subject to change without notice.
  • All product descriptions and specifications are subject to change without notice.
  • All damage claims must be made with the carrier at the time of delivery.
     
  • Returns
    1.  All returns must be authorized by Tech Model Products LLC. via email within 3 days from receipt or your order.
    2.  All returns must have a copy of the original sales invoice.
    3.  All return shipping charges must be prepaid. 
    4.  All return items must be in the original condition as shipped.  We reserve the right to refuse the return on any items.
    6.  A
    restocking fee of 15% may be applied to returned items/orders without prior notice.
    7. 
    We do not accept International returns. All sales are final.
    8.  Electronic/electrical items cannot be returned. All sales are final.
     

Warranties

Most of the products we carry are warranted by the manufacturer of the product and not by us.
Feel free to contact us concerning the warranty on an item before purchasing it.

Defective electrical, radio and electronics equipment (including batteries) are warranted by the manufacturer.

All defective item claims for electrical, radios, receivers, and servos and electronics must be done through the manufactures warranty
process.  They have asked us not to replace the defective items and told us to inform you to contact them directly.
